Streaming from his North Pole office, Santa plans to read Christmas stories and take your questions

Even Santa is playing it safe this year.

In an effort to make sure he's healthy and safe for his December 24 deliveries, Santa has canceled his in-person pre-Christmas appearances this year. However, he wants to make sure Lee's Summit area children and families know they're still on his mind.

Santa Claus

Join Santa Claus on Dec. 17 for a special live stream event from his North Pole office. Hosted by Lee’s Summit Town Hall’s Nick Parker and Jason Norbury and sponsored by Budget Blinds of Lee’s Summit, Santa will read some of his favorite holiday stories and answer your questions! Donations for Lee’s Summit Social Services are encouraged.

For this year, Santa has teamed up with Budget Blinds of Lee's Summit and Link 2 Lee's Summit for a special live stream event at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 17. During the event, Santa will read some of his favorite holiday short stories and take questions from viewers and Lee's Summit Town Hall hosts Nick Parker and Jason Norbury.

As an added layer to the event, both Budget Blinds and Link 2 Lee's Summit will be accepting monetary donations for Lee's Summit Social Services and its efforts to support local families need.

You can donate here, or during the event on Dec. 17. Keep up with news and conversation on this event at our Story Time with Santa Facebook page.
