Ten student artists across the Lee’s Summit R-7 School District earned recognition for their excellence in the Missouri PTA Reflections contest, with two students winning their category to advance to the National PTA Reflections competition.

The Reflections program is a national arts competition sponsored by the PTA. “I Matter Because…” was this year’s theme.

Bernard Campbell Middle School

  • Brooke Crotts, two second places (middle school, grades 6-8), Dance Choreography and Music Composition, and honorable mention, Film Production
  • Hailey Wray, third place (middle school, grades 6-8), Music Composition
